Cuadros escoceses...plaid...tartan...la evolución de la especie / The evolution of the species
En mi adolescencia tuve unas Doctor Martens que aún a día de hoy cuando me acuerdo de ellas se me sube una lagrimilla a los ojos. Eran rojas, de cuadros escoceses, parecidas a éstas de la foto pero más bonitas. Sé que podéis estar pensado que ya me vale, pero os equivocáis, eran preciosas, quedaban bien con todo (que sí! a ver, era adolescente!) y si las encontrara hoy me compraría dos pares. A ellas les dedico este post, porque este invierno el tartan está por todas partes y eso nada más que hace que me acuerde más de ellas y la herida no se cierre.
When I was a teenager I had a pair of red plaid Doctor Martens which I loved from the bottom of my heart. They looked kind of like the ones in the above picture, but I swear they were even more beautiful and went well with everything. Everything in my teenage wardrobe I know, but if I'd find them right now I'd buy two pairs. This post is dedicated to them because this fall/winter tartan is everywhere and I miss them more than ever.
