May: the Met Gala, the Royal Wedding, and Cannes.

We Countesses, addicted to champagne, stylish parties, and the chicest baroque, have had quite a busy May, to say the least.

If there are three events I was invited to but unfortunately lost the invitation and couldn't attend, they were the MET Gala, the Royal Wedding between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, and the Cannes Film Festival. I'd like to tell you what outfits I chose for each occasion. You can adapt all of them to your routine as summer is just around the corner and it's not surprising that the weather is crazy. In the morning, the sun shines brightly, and suddenly, in the afternoon, it starts to rain (or hail).

If there's one thing I love about the Cannes Film Festival, it's the daytime looks. They're easy to adapt to our lives in the county. For this event, I choose a basic with its own personality. The Vizcondesa Beatle jacket in green. Yes, green, because how many black, brown, or navy blue jackets do you have in your closet? Exactly.

For the wonderful wedding of the now Duke and Duchess of Sussex, I chose the Royal jacket. I'm still hungover from the royal wedding, which is why I can't get this jacket out of my head. The intense red of this garment blends with black details and gold trim.

For the Met Gala, where religiosity and fashion united, I couldn't help but choose this marvelous linen cape with my beloved Virgin of Guadalupe embroidered on the back. Truly wonderful.

But amidst all this, I have to tell you a secret: the star of the summer will be the Pompera jacket. It's made of cotton, so you can wear it on all those summer nights when it gets a little cool but you still want to look incredible.

I have my own star look for this jacket: Mijina t-shirt + Slipi pajamas. Did you see it on Instagram?
