The Secrets of the New Historical Collection

Dearest friends of La Condesa, we have a new Historic collection! Well, we've expanded it, so don't worry, you can still find our most iconic models like the Beatle jacket, the Vizcondesas, and the marvelous Royal.

But today I'd like to tell you a little about this new collection. If you've seen the Instagram stories these past few days, you've already earned an A+ in this collection, but for those who aren't yet in the know, I'm telling you all about it here.

They are very elaborate, detailed, and colorful pieces, the essence of La Condesa. After all, they are still the inspirational jackets I love so much and enjoy sharing with all of you, but with a new reinterpretation. As you know, madness, colors, and the baroque trend beat within me, which is why I wanted to create these jackets that have so much of me.

We have used our incredible twill fabric made in Salamanca, which is excellent for embroidery. It's a fabric that bridges winter and summer, so you can adapt your garment to all climates and situations.

My initial idea was to photograph the garments in a studio, as we usually do, but after much reflection, I chose Calpe beach. We had never taken them there before, and I wanted to show that they are perfect in any setting.

It was incredibly fun, with a great team, and although the weather wasn't ideal, I'm happy with the result, so I hope you like it very much.

Today we are uploading the first four available models to the website. For the rest, you'll have to be patient until June 4th, which is just around the corner!

The Mess jacket, perfect for a rock concert with friends or for that important business meeting where you want to impress and leave the audience firm. Made of bicolor twill and embroidered on the cuffs and placket. I can imagine the famous Lady Kitty Spencer wearing it and paired with skinny jeans in the purest Queen Letizia style.

What's better than a suit jacket for any occasion? Exactly, nothing.

The Oficial Verde, made of crepe and with a straight cut, which makes it perfect to combine with jeans or with the Colbom trousers, which are also going on sale. Or suddenly, with a tracksuit in the purest Rosalía style? By the way! Don't forget to listen to Brillo, her new song.

The incredible Peacock jacket. This jacket left me speechless when I saw it finished. It's incredible how the embroideries fit with the body of a peacock embroidered on the pockets and together form the tail that ends in the sleeves. Look at the detail! It's made of black twill with smoking-style lapels and two cufflink-style buttons joined by a golden chain. Shall I tell you a secret about this jacket? I was inspired by the name of the record label that the Jackson Five founded when they wanted to become independent from their father: Peacock.

Pavo Real La Condesa

And finally, the Cortés Corona. A jacket made of navy blue twill with contrasting lapels and embroidered crowns in silver thread. The image speaks for itself. This model is the most casual and versatile of all. I imagine it with jeans and Converse sneakers, with a black leather mini-skirt, and even with a flowing white dress. Queen Letizia, Meghan Markle, or Gwyneth Paltrow would be excellent ambassadors for this jacket. Well, them or any royal who hasn't had an aristocratic birth. Can you imagine getting married in it? And then using it for the office? My imagination flies endlessly.
