Style guide for your events this summer.
At this time of year, when baptisms, communions, and weddings start to take over our calendar, one question constantly arises: what should I wear?
Friends, I wanted to show solidarity with all of you, and for that, I called my dear Támara, a fashion and celebrity stylist for people like Eugenia Silva and Vicky Martín Berrocal, as well as an etiquette expert. I want you to be the most envied guests at the party, and for that, I'm sharing my conversation with Támara. Take note!
Marina Conde - You know that at La Condesa, we're a bit rebellious. Do you think it's possible to break the rules and wear a long dress in the morning?
Támara Vekic - It always depends on the type of wedding. At a classic wedding, I wouldn't break protocol if you don't want to draw too much attention. At a beach or country wedding, being a more relaxed atmosphere, long dresses or flat shoes are allowed.

MC - What do you think about headpieces?
TV - You should only wear them if they match your style and you know how to pull them off. Weddings, baptisms, and communions are long events that usually include lunch and dinner, so you have to feel comfortable. And always, the simpler, the better. I think they are becoming obsolete; they were a trend due to the influence we received from countries like England.
MC - We love traditional details like espadrilles. Do you think they are suitable for a wedding guest?
TV - Sandals and wedges, which are also very feminine, flatter our figure. If you want to add an extra touch of sophistication, choose models with pointed toes. Another interesting traditional accessory is jewelry typical of each region. They are always flattering.

MC - What mistake should we never make when dressing for an event?
TV - Any garment or accessory that makes us feel uncomfortable or is contrary to our style.
MC - How does the "Condesa" style fit into a baptism or a communion?
TV - Flowy, printed, colorful dresses are a sure bet to succeed at these types of events. If you want to add a sophisticated touch to your look, you can achieve it with one of the classic jackets from her collection.

MC - Organza in May? At La Condesa, we love this fabric.
TV - Always a resounding yes.

MC - The perfect fashion tip for a guest would be...
TV - Complete the look with natural makeup and hair.
MC - How not to err on the side of being too classic?
TV - It's always better to take risks with accessories.
I would love to know all your beauty and styling tricks for these occasions. Will you tell me?
