AMELIA AND VALENTINA

We all dream, we all dream of going further, of achieving our dreams, of flying, of touching the stars. On International Women's Day La Condesa wants to make a call in honor of all those dreaming women who day after day fight to be heard in a world that does not always treat us with the equality we deserve.

We have designed a limited collection of jackets covered with stars and equipped with wings to give you strength when your spirits flag. Amelia and Valentina embody the spirit of two women who should be a source of inspiration for us: Amelia Earhart and Valentina Tereshkova.

Amelia Earhart was the main driving force behind women in aviation; this American was the first woman to cross the Atlantic Ocean by plane. In one of her letters, she wrote: "Women must try to do things as men have tried. When they fail, their failure must be but a challenge to others".

Valentina Tereshkova is a Russian engineer who became the first woman to travel to space, completing up to 48 orbits around Earth. Tereshkova, at 76, surprised everyone by expressing her desire to travel to Mars, even if it was a one-way trip.

La Condesa wants to bring you closer to your dreams thanks to these jackets with wings and stars, those that will help you touch the sky and that symbolize the power and strength that every woman has within to achieve whatever she sets her mind to.
