Boys' changing room

Even though he's called Chico, I assure you he's big, very big.

While I was preparing this post about him, I remembered the day we met... he hated me. I don't blame him, his sister invited me to her house and I arrived chatting a mile a minute and threatening her Dalmatian that I was going to make a vest out of his skin if he didn't obey me; some days I'm a bit Cruella.

Luckily, he didn't let that bad first impression get to him, and after a long time, I can proudly say that I am a friend in my own right of one of the kindest, most adorable, good-vibe-spreading, and amiable beings in the world. Nobody is like Chico because almost no one bothers to mix the usual cynicism with a bit of sweetness anymore.

I've learned that as a life insurance policy, you have to make the brave decision to remove energy-sucking friends from your life and surround yourself only with those who share a pleasant view of life and truly love you.

Who don't understand jealousy among friends, who don't let slip malicious comments as if it were nothing, but there you have it, who don't get you down (not to say a bad word, as you know aristocrats can't), who don't bore you with nonsense and idle chatter, and above all, who are genuinely happy when things are going well for you because they were there when things were bad.

That's why my eyes well up when I see that his dream is slowly coming true, thanks to a lot of brains and perseverance. No "Mom, I want to be an artist and take the world by storm" (and he comes from a family of talents, mind you), first he got his little degree, as my grandmother would say, to pay for his beans, and then, boom, pickaxe and shovel, guitar and microphone, singing, composing, moving.

And there he is, his name is starting to be heard, he has given concerts in the main venues in Madrid and some record companies have come close, all that's left is for them to treat him with the love he deserves and then the chemistry will blossom. There will be passion. We will see, I'm sure.

His music is like him, in fact, it is him. His life, his stories, his way of thinking. A reflection of many experiences told with a cheerful tone, luckily we are not talking about a "boring singer-songwriter". And listening to him is falling in love, because I would put Chico on my nightstand and before going to sleep I would ask him to tell me things, to chat for a while.

Laughter would be guaranteed and I would go to sleep thinking that the world is good, that sometimes it is cruel, but always, there is always someone good out there to counterbalance it.

If you want to see how he and his fantastic team (love you too José) prepare before a concert, you can find it here.

I'll leave you with one of his songs "Todo en azul" and the hope of seeing you at his next concert, which will be on
