Madrid Vogue Fashion Night Out

Last Thursday, Vogue magazine organized an event in several cities worldwide. Madrid had surprisingly a massive audience, at least to me. I arrived a bit late but our Golden Mile looked like this:

For a moment I thought I was at the Fair, but the absence of polka dots pulled me out of the delusion; I was in Madrid, right in the heart of Madrid.

I first thought I was in some kind of Spanish fun fair but I found out I was right at Madrid's downtown as soon as I realised there were no polka-dots around.

People were super dressed up, as if the doors of Pachá had overflowed, and there were so many celebrities per square meter that the youngsters were chasing them, confused by rumors of Almodóvar's appearance at the Missoni store and the never-appearing Cayetano Rivera at Armani. The one in the photo is a besieged Ivón Reyes.
The people got amazingly dressed-up, as if Pachá’s doors had overflown and there were so many celebrities per square meter that young people ran after them in all directions, confused by rumors of Almodóvar’s attendance to the Missoni store and Cayetano Rivera to Armani's (he never showed up). The one in the picture is an besieged Yvonne Reyes.

Vogue's marquee was supposed to be a refuge from the wild crowds, but the reality was that it was almost as crowded, and you had to elbow your way through to get some refreshment to quell the impossible heat outside. I don't know if it was the spotlights, the people, or what, but it was stifling hot.

Vogue’s marquee was supposed to be a refuge from the crowd but it was actually almost as busy as the other places and you had to go bumping everyone to get a beverage to cool you off. I am not sure it was whether the spotlights or the people but it was terribly hot.

Hot aristocrat complaints aside, the night was a lot of fun, a street-styler's paradise and undoubtedly a place to meet everyone. Even Michael Jackson, yes, as you will see below, I provide graphic proof of the rumor that the King of Pop is not dead.

Beside my complaints, the evening was real fun. It was a streetstyler’s paradise and a place to find everyone, even Michael Jackson. Here is the picture that proves the rumors that the king of pop is not dead.

Besides Michael, Susana Campuzano (right in the photo), director of the master's degree in luxury business management at IE, and her colleagues from Luxury Advise were also there.

Apart from Michael, Susana Campuzano, director of the master degree in luxury companies in the IE (Spanish companies institute), was also there (right on the picture) along with her colleagues of Luxury Advice.

Patricia Conde (hey, her name is like the blog!) was spectacularly beautiful and friendly, wearing a stunning outfit, gorgeous hair, and amazing legs. What a great choice to show off legs rather than boom-booms.

Patricia Conde (hey! Like the name of my website!) was radiant and charming in an awesome model, super hair and super legs. What a great choice to show your legs off instead of your boobs.

Her program partner, however, took the opposite option and was unpleasant, diva-like, with a smile that disappeared with the camera flashes. A shame, such a beautiful girl must find it difficult to live with such a bipolar personality.

However, her colleague took the other choice and acted unpleasant, diva and with a smile that turned off together with the lights of the camera. Too bad to be so pretty and have to live with such a bipolar personality.

Doña Eloísa Bercero, our greatest haute couture collector and a truly nice lady. I always stop her whenever I see her, how annoying I am, but she is really nice and knows more about fashion than anyone else, of course, she has been wearing it her whole life. Another day I will tell you some of the things she tells me in the encounters where I bother her for a little while. On this occasion, she thought the event was excessively crowded but that "then you go into the stores and there are beautiful things, although I don't understand why people don't dare to come on a day with fewer people." Uhm...

Ms. Eloísa Bercero is our greatest haute couture collector and a truly nice lady. I always need to stop her whenever I see her, sorry, but she is really nice and knows more than anyone about fashion. In fact, she has always lived with it. Someday, I will tell you some of the things she tells me in these casual encounters. This time, she was saying the event was too crowded but “you then enter the stores and can find nice garments, though I do not get why people do not dare to come some other less crowded day”. Uhm…

Coti wore a jacket that, although not particularly striking, gave me an idea for a possible DIY, let's see if I dare (or find time) and show you what I make.

Coti wore a not very striking coat, but he gave me an idea for a possible DIY. I will show you if I finally find the time and do it.

I think not even Cibeles brings together so many people interested in the world of fashion, and it was frankly fun to meet and talk to many of them because, in the end, with the excuse of a photo, I end up chatting a lot, which is what I like the most. Especially when I meet blog readers who recognize me, wow, I get so excited. Hello!!!

I think not even Cibeles gets to gather so many people interested in fashion and it was pretty fun to meet and talk to some of them because, at the end, I talk a lot with the pretext of the picture, overall, when I find some readers that recognize me. Wow! I get soooo excited! Hey!!

Some even make repeat appearances, but when they are dressed so ideally and smiling, it's impossible not to stop them.

Some of them even appear again, but it is normal when they are so well dressed and smiley.

How incredible is this combination of sailor stripes, light harem pants, jewel sandals, and tons of pearls? Great! And the coral nails? That's called finishing the job, what a genius, I love it.

This outfit with sailor stripes, harem pants, jewel sandals and tons of pearls is awesome!! How about those coral nails? That is what I call a round off. I love it!

More stripes well worn, the scarf-belt adds a detail and the skin tone on her great legs elevates the t-shirt.

More stripes well worn, the belt-scarf is an extra point and her leg’s beautiful color put the T-shirt up on a higher level.

I like the color combination of the top and shoes, and that eye-catching necklace, cool, I like pink... forgive my lack of vocabulary today, I think I've had a psychological regression and all the pink I didn't wear in adolescence my pores are claiming now. The problem is that this regression implies a considerable loss of vocabulary, oh girls, how strong girls, how much I like pink, oh

I like the matching colors of the top and shoes and that bright necklace. Pink rocks. Cool! Sorry for my lack of proper language today. I think I have had a psicological regression and all the pink I never wore when I was a teenager is now claiming its place. The problem is this regression is leading to an important loss of vocabulary, ohmyGod! That is so fetch! Pink rocks!

Pink also works great in accessories, details on the belt and necklace...

Pink also rocks on all accesories. Check out that belt and necklace...

...or in full and unapologetically, I love it! It's a very flattering color with a tan. A post is coming where I'll wear my new fuchsia pink brogues, fuchsia pink evening dress and fuchsia pink watch... ohhhh! I see it, I see it! You might have to wear sunglasses in front of the screen that day, but won't we have a laugh?

... or full pink. I love it! It is a very flattering color with a tan. There is a new post to come in which I will wear my new fuchsia pink brogues, fuchsia pink night dress and fuchsia pink watch. Oh my God! I am seeing it! You might need to put on sunglasses to look at the screen but we will laugh for sure.

Besides pink, there are also other colors that work well on their own, like black, which never fails and which XaviWorld and his friend Clara wear straight from Barcelona to experience the Madrid night.

There are some other working colors with no need to match with any other, such as black (always a good decision), like XaviWorld and his friend Clara, from Barcelona straight to the night in Madrid.

And where there is black, there is white. I love how this girl looks, with a maxi blazer, a little belt to emphasize the waist, high heels, and out to the street. Bravo for that red lip color and those legs, I insist that it's better to invest in power plates and running shoes than in silicone boom-boom.

White is also where black is. I love this girl’s outfit, with a super blazer, a little belt just to emphasize the waist, super heels and let’s go! That red on your lips is just awesome. What about those legs? May I insist it is much better to invest on power plates and trainers that on silicone?

Prints were also present that night: floral, leopard, ethnic, lace... everything.

Patterns were also there – flowers, leopards, ethnics, handkerchiefs and so on

At this point, I got a little overwhelmed by the heat and fled to "In Dietro", a decoration store that opened relatively recently and is a dream for all of us who are moving house. Fleeing the overwhelm, I found the mecca, at "In Dietro" they had prepared an event with a live DJ, mannequins and models, cold champagne, the "Fashionista" showroom collections and a very select audience.

Up to this point, I got exhausted of the heat and run away to “In Dietro”, a decoration store for all of us who are moving. While trying to escape the crowd, I actually found the Mecca. "In Dietro" had organized an event with a DJ, maniquíes and models, cold champaigne, the Fashionista’s showroom collections and a very selective audience.

We must admit the girl in the middle is handling her dress situation with her head up high.

They had in the store the collection Teresa Helbig just shown in Barcelona, which was pretty praised. It much better live, like its creator

This is Teresa, my idol that night. She is really nice and kind. She is so stylish and I think she could even go model her own clothes.

It was a pleasure to talk to her and laugh about our terrible feet and how difficult it is to get on super heels after a long time feeling free on flip-flops.

I liked everything in In Dietro but, overall, this FUCHSIA PINK French bulldog, with colored butterflies and I Love You balloon included. How come? Is this for real? The Consort and I have agreed to go get him to keep our door as soon as we get settled in our new apartment. He is soooo pink. Hey, guys, he is cool, isn’t he?

Se despide,

La Condesa readolescente

All the best from the super-teen Countess
