Conference on fashion blogs in Madrid

Last week (pffff, I know, I tell you things too late... I'll be back to normal soon, have faith) the first Fashion Blog Conference organized by Patricia González and María Giraldo took place in Madrid at the Costume Museum (I couldn't like the location more).

We spent two days listening to very interesting presentations on how to make your blog rank better on Google, what happens with the copyright of the photos we use, what trends are coming, etc. It also provided a very interesting rapprochement between traditional media and bloggers, as there were journalists from Telva, Vogue, Marie Claire, and many brand managers who came to better understand what fashion blogs are and whether to fear them or love them.

I imagine that, as a blogger, it's hard for me to understand why brands sometimes fear us so much or why some people in the industry still consider us a small but big invasion. I would simply like to say... RELAX. We are friendly, we are polite, we are not here to usurp anyone's position, or to speak ill of anything; we simply have a passion and want to communicate it. Nothing more, end of the mystery.

Personally, I loved being able to discover new blogs and talk to those who are just starting out. It's always interesting to share your experience with others and find common ground; that's how you gradually make progress. And if you think I'm short on words today, it's because I have a surprise reserved for the end...my voice! Yes, I also presented (what an honor!) my experience as a blogger, and if you're interested in knowing if I have a high-pitched voice or a drunken Cossack voice, you can check it out at this link: El Vestidor Conde

Many people told me that the presentation was motivating, and that's why I hope you like it and it helps you to lift your spirits and exclaim, YES YOU CAN!!
