60 trends in 60 seconds

As I mentioned in the previous post, Jaana Jätyri, CEO of the trend agency Trendstop.com, gave a talk during the past Fashion Blogs Conference where she introduced us to her company dedicated to trend analysis for fashion professionals and the creative sector.

On her website, you'll find, in her own words, high-quality fashion, street and lifestyle imagery, inspirational trend looks, specific trend predictions, and analysis of emerging trends across 20 easy-to-use categories. Unfortunately, their main services are paid, although Jaana very generously presented one of them called "60 trends in 60 seconds", in which they present with a few photos and a powerful title those first weak signals that can end up becoming future trends.

For those of you looking for inspiration, I hope these images are useful.

Hey! Not to pat myself on the back, but I spotted this trend a while ago. Jaana, hire me, I make great tea (no coffee, sorry) and I'm very low-maintenance.

I know, it's not 60; I thought it would be too much to fill the blog with photos, so I preferred to filter out the ones I liked best.

Following the Conference, Trendstop has decided to organize a photo contest to capture the main trends and the prevailing spirit on the streets of Madrid.

I don't have enough information yet to explain how you can participate in the contest, but the organization promises to explain the rules in an upcoming post.

Lots of hugs,

La Condesa tracking the next trend

By the way, what do you think will be the next big thing? Is there a future after military aesthetics?
Everyone asks me what the next collection will be like, and in principle, I have a fairly clear idea; I call it "See Italy and die", but until I give it a definitive shape, I let myself be influenced
