SPOTTED: Santa C. trading baggy for skinny
As a Christmas special, I wrote to Santa Claus proposing a special collaboration with El Vestidor, given that his look is more fashionable than ever thanks to the return of velvet as a trend. Unfortunately, the agency that handles his communication and PR responded that it was not possible due to an exclusive contract with Coca-Cola and the Lapland Tourism Agency.
This couldn't be the end of it, so yesterday I strategically placed my camera to catch the big guy red-handed. Imagine my surprise this morning when I found photographic evidence that Santa C. has swapped his traditional wide pants for skinny ones. Tremendous.
Could Santa C be a follower of El Vestidor Conde and came prepared? Is he tired of people talking about his weight problems and has gone on a diet? Has he contacted Karl Lagerfeld and Alexander McQueen for advice? Will he switch to leather or lurex leggings next year? Are we at the end of an era?
In any case, he was very upset by my trick and didn't even wish me good morning, which, of course, I don't care about because I BELIEVE IN THE THREE WISE MEN!
After offering Santa C a colaboration with this blog (since his velvet outfit is so trendy these days) his communication agency got in touch with me to explain this was absolutely impossible due to an exclusive contract with Coca-Cola and Laponia Agency of Turism.
Yesterday night I set up my camara to get some pics and what is my surprise when this morning I find out he's traded his baggy pants for skinnies!
Might Santa C be hiring a new stylist? Is he on a diet? In that case, shouldn't he get in touch with Karl Lagerfeld and Alexander MacQueen for advice? Is this the end of an era?
In any case, he wasn't very happy with my trick and left me nothing, which is no big deal because I only believe in THE THREE MAGIC KINGS!
