Foreign couples in Florence

I love to see how friendship, love, cohabitation or whatever makes us blend in with our current partner and end up walking around with similar styles and matching colors. Here are some examples of couples I encountered in Florence who made me wonder, do we end up merging with the other's style, or do we seek out people with similar styles beforehand?

These are wonderful couples I met while in Florence which go colour-matching. I wonder if you pick your friends with a similar style to yours or whether it is that after a while you end up having a common style with the person you spend most time with?
