2009. We're starting.

We start in Badajoz, where I'm from. With the new Congress Center in the background and accompanied by a good friend, David Mesa. The brother-in-law we all dream of having, but only two people are lucky enough to have him.

David is the definition of a good person. All kindness, grace and charm. Having him around guarantees a good time because he makes an effort to create a good atmosphere, and his humor is based on true good humor, the kind that doesn't make fun of anyone and comes from genuine friendliness.

Although he's from Badajoz (what a great place!), he survives in Seville, where I imagine his easygoing style clashes a bit with the rather generalized classicism. But even with that, David knows how to find the charming side and appropriates objects as unlikely as the ones he shows us here.

Perhaps it's the ring or the Messiah's mints he always carries, but we see in this photo that David is clearly illuminated by divine grace
