The prettiest jackets from Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week
Alejandro's jacket (a future star stylist in our country, I'm sure) is a beautiful piece that I chased through a packed kissing-room. It reminded me of British colleges or, as he himself described it to me, "straight out of Harry Potter." What a nice guy, you'd love him. I hope to take more well-lit pictures of him someday.

Tailcoat jackets really catch my eye, and the owner told me he got this specific one at a vintage shop in London. It's brown and made of beautiful cloth; it's a shame the photo doesn't do it justice.

I swear I spotted Balmain's shoulder pads from about 20 meters away and almost killed myself running downstairs to take a picture of her before the show started. When I got there, it turned out to be Bárbara Martello, our national voguette. She was spectacular in person, both she and the jacket. I didn't have time to photograph everything, but it has a kind of embroidered shield on the back that gives it a rocker edge. One detail I didn't quite understand was how this well-known stylist wasn't being photographed by anyone, while the wife/mother-in-law of... Rafael? A bullfighter?... was enveloped in a cloud of flashes.

I was so happy and cool in my self-made military jacket when I ran into Chema from Neo2 trying to take credit away from me. His was also very nice, from Paris, but by the arch of my eyebrow, you can tell I wasn't intimidated in the slightest by the French allure of the rival jacket.

However, when I met Arnaud the next day, I did feel a little weak. WHAT A JACKET! For me, it takes the prize, it's amazing. You can find a better picture here (Chic too chic). Arnaud is the owner of Le Faubourg, undoubtedly the best vintage shop in Madrid, with special pieces from Hermés, Chanel, etc. that make you question why designers keep releasing new things. He told me he had bought it in Paris (which seems to be the mecca for these jackets) but I didn't want to investigate further so my creation wouldn't feel jealous or I'd be tempted to take it off him and run away... along with the Balmain one... yes, that would have been a good way to crown Cibeles.
