B-Day: Sideral shindig blogiversary (EDITED - giveaway results!)
ONE YEAR!!
One year, hehe, El Vestidor Conde is turning one, I've been doing this for a year, it's exciting, right!
Well, well, well, I've been rehearsing my Oscar acceptance speech for years, but since Milena Canonero stubbornly insists on not replying to my emails, thus hindering my career, I'll use it on you if you don't mind.
Thanks to all the brands that, even without really understanding why, agreed to collaborate with the blog and let me have makeup, clothes, and even cars. Thanks to Mapfre's tow truck that so quickly came to rescue us during the eventful making of the first ambitious photoshoot. Thanks to the security chief of the Carrousel du Louvre who believed my crocodile tears. Thanks to everyone who let me sneak into countless fashion shows and ended up hugging me when they saw I finally entered with real invitations. Thanks to everyone who let me use their houses, gardens, restaurants, and balconies for photos. Thanks to Zara and H&M for the 30-day return policy. Thanks to my mother-in-law who comments and to my uncle-in-law who paints t-shirts for me, which I then charge him for when he wants to buy them.
Many thanks to everyone who let themselves be photographed to appear on this blog, especially those at the beginning who will forever be my favorite muses for trusting the unknown. Thanks to those of you who stop by here to take a look. Many thanks to those who leave a trace of having passed through, it is much appreciated. Thanks to those who gave support with comments at the beginning when this still had no shape or meaning, ahem, it still doesn't. Thanks to the dogs, the levitating cat buddha, the pearl necklaces, and the mysterious butlers. Thanks to John, Karl, and Martin. Thanks to the wonderful bloggers I've met and who have shown me the right path like a young padawan.
Thanks to TheSartorialist for giving me a reason to start the blog and not caring that I copied him, great people are like that. Thanks to the nice and pleasant people. Thanks again to my friends for making me laugh so much and for eventually getting excited about the blog. Big thanks again to you for reading it and sometimes laughing, without you this cosmic madness would make no sense.
And thanks above all to the person who makes it possible, Mario, the Consort, for his patience, support, and especially for believing in something from the very beginning before I even did.
