Stuart Vevers' smile

Yesterday was the party organized every year by Yo Dona magazine to present its awards to women who have excelled in their professional and humanitarian work...and I, woman, very professionally, forgot my camera at home (pfff). My brand new husband was kind enough to bring it to me after dinner, but unfortunately people flee these events after the second course and by cocktail hour there were few left within my camera's reach.

While I bash my head against the table to calm my frustration, I leave you with the best of the scarce 10 photos I took, that of Stuart Vevers, creative director of Loewe. I stopped him to tell him that I love him, that I admire his work, that I love what he's doing with Loewe, that I've gone back into Loewe and what I see causes me anxiety and desire and that I want an Ame bag more than food itself (well, I discretely kept this to myself). And he, he is so nice, so very nice. He told me that he loves living in Madrid, that it's much easier to adapt here than to Paris or Milan, that they notice young people are coming to Loewe and that, like any good child of non-urban England, he sings quite well. I pray that Loewe's sales go through the roof and that we have Stuart for a long time, and since it's better to till the land than to pray for a good harvest, I've just put a bill in my piggy bank destined for recognizable vices.
