Portraits of San Francisco II: The Independent Ladies

One thing that quite traumatized me about Miami was that women don't pay, what? Nothing. They don't pay for anything, seriously; when they go out to dinner alone with a man, when the bill arrives, they look away as if that problem isn't theirs, and when they go out in groups of men and women, when it's time to pay to enter a place, they look up at the sky, I imagine, waiting for their entry fee to fall. Needless to say, all their drinks are on someone else; it doesn't even occur to them that they might have to take out their wallet to shell out a single dollar. Cost of the night: the taxi there, and, in the worst case, the taxi back. How about that way of life? It irritates me, honestly; it makes me feel that the last 50 years have been for nothing, but hey, each one can do what they can with their dignity.
In San Francisco, on the other hand, I see more groups of girls going out alone. Obviously, after only a few days, these conclusions I'm drawing are totally invalid, that what I saw doesn't only happen in Miami but everywhere, but I like that in general here I see fewer sexbombs and more independent ladies. Like those in the photo, going out alone, having fun and looking fabulous like that with shoes and bags that perhaps they paid for themselves.
In Spain, do we have a different concept? Do you pay for your own things or do you let yourselves be treated when you go out?
A thousand hugs,
La Condesa who knows how much champagne costs on the market
