Countess White and Countess Blue Sea
I felt bad for only posting two photos of the new Condesa jackets in the press, so I just edited it to complete it with photos I had all over the room when I was designing the summer collection. I already told you that it is inspired by the Amalfi Coast and its splendor in the 1950s.
During this collection, I greatly doubted whether to abandon the military spirit and present something completely different or to remain faithful to the original idea. In the end, there are certain decisions that even I cannot make; I have created a creature that is no longer solely mine and has a life of its own, so if everyone associates La Condesa jackets with military style, I am nobody to deny it. Besides, we make this particular pattern so incredibly well in the workshop that it would be a waste to retire it, almost a betrayal of its origins. No, we decided to keep it and reinvent it each season with new colors and details.
On this occasion, the Amalfi coast brought us the electric blue of its sea and the black and white splendor it experienced in the 50s, thus the Blue Sea Countess and the White Countess were born. As you can see, we didn't rack our brains with the titles, but that's what we call them in the workshop, and I preferred not to get caught up in marketing decisions.

Photos that inspired us:

La Condesa Azul Mar, for sale here.

Do you see that from the prototypes to the final piece there are changes in the colors of the embroidery cords? And in the piping of the pockets, of the tabs, ugh, from the first jacket that is made until you say "THIS ONE," the number of mini-decisions and changes that alter it in the process are very curious. Many times these are things that don't even depend on you, a supplier that delivers poorly, a seamstress's mistake, a fabric that is sewn badly, and BAM, a last-minute change.
The press:

Looc Magazine (only distributed in Madrid), thanks
And me:

The silly look on my face is because we had just been given Tiffany's engagement rings... made of candy!
Hugs,
