#PiscinaConde our new collection

“Gira, il mondo gira

nello spazio senza nenza

Con gli amori appena nati

con gli amori già finiti

Con la gioia e col dolore

della gente come me.”

This is the song that was playing on that old cassette while Marina played with her siblings. Marina's mother, María del Pilar, adored Italian music. A hardworking woman who raised her family and was a role model for her children. For this reason, she has served as inspiration for Marina Conde, creative director of La Condesa, to design her proposal for the upcoming Spring-Summer 2019 season.

Piscina Conde Badajoz

Under the name of Piscina Conde, in honor of the business her grandfather founded in the 60s. The first swimming pool in Badajoz that at night became a social club, a place where they held parties and live orchestras played. And where, in the 80s, Marina grew up and learned to swim, master foosball and understand the sacrifice involved in owning a business.

In this collection, two decades coexist: the 60s and the 80s in iridescent garments, with a feminine cut, but with the rebellious touch that characterizes all of La Condesa's collections. Without losing its aristocratic essence, it proposes a return to childhood, to summers at her family's pool and to the innocent happiness of children, who wait all year for summer to arrive and go to the pool. A place where water, friendships, and fun recreate a magical world parallel to reality where nothing else matters. I decided to rescue these moments because they represent childhood and absolute happiness.

Bocetos La Condesa

Sequins, lamé and iridescent fabrics that recall the reflection of water, neon colors and pastel-colored garments are shown to the rhythm of Let's Eat Grandma, The Perfect Kiss, and The Psychedelic Furs. Through music, the brand's hallmark, it seeks to lead the viewer through her family's memories on a nostalgic and sweet journey, and make them relive their own childhood.

Bocetos La Condesa

Swimming pools from an aerial view, or picnic motifs on gingham fabrics are some of the brand's own prints. Marina has taken inspiration from family albums, drawing on the color and prints of her mother's dresses and swimsuits, as well as the poolside aesthetic of the late 20th century.

Bocetos La Condesa

The Milkshake Room is in charge of completing this magical setting, representing water and swimming pools as a child would imagine them in the form of colorful balloons. Ana Marttin completes the looks with high-heeled shoes in fluorescent and bright tones. While Igor customizes its range of flip-flops with the collection's fabrics. The final touch is provided by BestWay with its Fashion Floats collection, the fashionable inflatables.
