Flowers in Paris Las Vegas
"SS París Las Vegas" draws from two great sources of inspiration: the strength of Mexican folklore through the vision of Manuel Cuevas and the French-inspired delicacy of Marie Antoinette, the Queen of tragic end and whom some describe as history's first fashion victim.

The softer and more delicate floral aspect, mainly present in the prints, is inspired by the time Marie Antoinette decided to retire to the Petit Trianon, a complex that Louis XV had built and which included a zoo, a botanical school, and a greenhouse, which the King gave to his wife.

And some of you might be wondering, who is Manuel Cuevas? A Mexican designer based in Las Vegas and linked to the Universal History of music. He has designed outfits for everyone from Elvis Presley to Brandon Flowers, including The Beatles and their majesties The Rolling Stones.

Mexican folklore has always been a source of inspiration for Cuevas, such as the embroidered flowers or metallic floral garlands typical of mariachi outfits, which have now embellished garments of great musical stars. Our Condesa has reinterpreted these into applications and rich embroideries that adorn and floralize some of this season's star garments.
