Diana, the rebel princess, with or without a cause?

Anna Wintour says that fashion is a clear reflection of what is happening in society, so the tribute paid to Diana these days may just be a demonstration that we need to recover myths, images or references from the past to justify the inspiration of the present. At La Condesa, where we always bet on rebel aristocracy as an epicenter for debate, Diana is not a great inspiration, but we do applaud her tenacity in wanting to give herself a chance. It is true that her style evolved remarkably thanks to her friendship with designers such as Gianni Versace and Oscar de la Renta, while she was a great friend of the late Liz Tilberis, who was then the wonderful editor of the American edition of Harper's Bazaar. So, during these days of rest, reviewing some images of Diana, I came across this one where she is seen relaxed, wearing an American-style bomber jacket, unpretentious, and it seems almost familiar to me because I am a big fan of these pieces. In fact, in our seasonal and historical collections, there are bomber models that reflect my weakness for them. And yes, sometimes the aristocracy needs to be rebellious so that we can give it a new chance. That was the Diana I came to like. In the end, when she was rebellious.
