"Summer Party" at Stanway House, Oxfordshire

Here are some examples of the electric "Stanway Style", a fantastic English country house (more like a castle) where we celebrated the arrival of summer. Very British, very fabulous...as all celebrations should be, splashing out by the medieval fireplace.

Together they formed a perfect picture. The trend was clear: modernized 80s, adapted to the extreme without any inhibitions. How fun to observe it, from a safe distance, mind you, well-protected from the other side of the line of ridicule that the English sometimes find so hard to distinguish. Because no matter how trendy it may be, excuse me, but summer parties call for a discreet and fabulous cocktail.

My favorite! The combination of nautical stripes and blotchy print seemed impossible but it's not. Simple, comfortable, and superb.
Nothing to do with the friend in the background, thanks to whom belt and leg warmers also find their place.

The hat and sandals are what give it the touch, the height of the leggings is very good (longer would make her look stumpy) and the belt so that it is clear she is not wearing a sack.
Which, on the other hand, it's very clear her friend is wearing. I don't like to be harsh, so we'll just advise her: take off the t-shirt or replace it with a tank top and wear skinny jeans or her friend's leggings. Next time, maybe.

Uff! Wine tights, fringed skirt!!, leopard print, and a Panama hat! And everything is balanced with the gray cardigan. Brilliant! Simply wonderful. You can't see her face but... she must be beautiful, right?

An Olympian goddess with an 80s rock spirit. The cast around her seems like part of the court, especially the girl on the right who adores her with a "jazz-hands" gesture.

Her clothes are like her, friendly and natural. We should all wear scarves all the time, always.
