Día soleado / Sunny day, Madrid
It was a wonderful summer afternoon in the middle of October when I met this young woman with an overwhelming attitude as she was leaving work, where she had just received some bad news. Notice how she knows how to wear clothes; she's not wearing anything particularly eye-catching (a nice blazer, jeans, sneakers, and a bag, that's it), but you still can't help but notice her. That raised collar, those mirrored glasses, those headphones, and especially that hair are details that, without being flashy, complete a very modern yet relaxed look.
It was a beautiful sunny afternoon in mid October when I met this cool lady outside her job, where they had given her a bad new. She is so full of attitude (in a good way) that even though she’s not wearing anything unusual you can’t help noticing her. That collar, the mirror glasses, the headphones and specially that hair are little details that complete a totally modern yet casual look.
From here, I would like to take the opportunity to make an appeal to all the ears in the world: abandon those in-ear headphones, or whatever they are called, that go into your ear. They hurt, the sound isn't good, and they fall out every two minutes (besides being ugly). Switch to ones like those worn by our French protagonist friend, which isolate outside noise, don't hurt, sound a thousand times better, and... they're a wonderful accessory because they come in all colors. Finally, I'm including some photos from that afternoon, which aren't very relevant but turned out beautiful, and considering how bad my camera is, I interpreted that wonderful light as a divine sign that I had to keep walking. Since TopShop was a bit further ahead, I continued, too bad I didn't find anything useful... the ways of the Lord are sometimes inscrutable, as they say.These are some pics I randomly took that same afternoon, I think they look good which is surprising considering how bad my camera is. I thought the light was some kind of sign telling me to keep walking towards the TopShop that is right ahead, but turned out couldn’t find anything interesting there. So hard to read the signs sometimes…
Ah, our friend ended up smiling, how cool. By the way, the girl ended up smiling which is why sometimes it’s so great to do this “job”
