Mango Party, Barcelona

Last week, our dear correspondent in Barcelona, Xavi, covered the presentation event of Mango's new season for El Vestidor Conde.

Unfortunately, due to technical issues, we haven't been able to bring you the news sooner. Today, finally, in all its splendor, we present our vision of the party, the B-side, what you never see because the camera flashes always point to the usual suspects and deprive us of experiencing the most fun part of the party: the attendees' looks, the anecdotes, the atmosphere... here it is.

-La Condesa: "Xavi darling, I recommend having a drink at the beginning to get over the shyness of introducing yourself to strangers, and then you'll see how it just flows"
-Xavi: "Ah, that sounds like a good idea, I'll do that. But don't worry, I'm going with some friends"

First and most importantly, our colleague and top-notch blogger, LujosaBarcelona. As you can see, she looks absolutely spectacular with those shiny pants and that brooch on her pearls, and apparently, her height makes her naturally stand out. If you want a serious and detailed report of the event, she described it here.

In addition to being stylish, they were the smartest ones, reserving a little picnic of delicacies before they ran out.

The red bag detail adds a cheerful touch of light to the outfit.
Our favorite, for her relaxed and colorful style, and because we share a jacket!

The collar of this jacket drives me crazy, and the bow at the neck hints at a man with promise...
Indeed! Not just him, but his entire group of friends, we love them because they wear women's Chanel jackets and hold their drinks like chalices. I like the ripped skinny jeans on the left.

Highlight of the night, performance by Kate Ryan in a fantastic dress.

Kate, looking beautiful, gives us a smile for El Vestidor...

"Models off duty" attitude...the one you should always have...

Check out the look on the right with the scarf and baggy pants...bravo for the boldness

Models on duty actually

More models

We think she's famous, but we don't know for sure. Anyway, we photographed her because we like that attitude that makes you believe she's famous even if she might not be, and because the dress is pretty, although... isn't it the same as Kate Ryan's?

Now THAT'S posing on a runway!

Beautiful people in general...
More beautiful people...

Xavi dear, that's not what I meant by the drink... hahahahaha!!!!

And with our dear correspondent dancing down the runway, we bid farewell with a big round of applause for his effort, which has resulted in a fantastic first news report that we close with a well-deserved party finale. With the Montjuic fountain in full color!

(Now, just between us... what should I do? Give him a second chance? I'm scared to let him loose at another party with a camera...)
