Pink colored balloons...one of my favorite things
It's been terribly cold this weekend. My recipe to face it with a bit of grace has been:

It was terribly cold this weekend so what I did to try to survive with some style was cover my head, my feet and...buy myself some pink ballons!!! It all was inspired by the song "My favourite things" by Julie Andrews. Call me corny but it gets me in a good mood when a dance around the house singing it, or even better screming it.
Cream colored ponies and crisp apple strudels,
door bells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles.
- A daily ampoule of "Germinal Acción Inmediata", which is the only truly effective cosmetic miracle to brighten facial skin.
- Listening to this song non-stop, which inspires the look and makes me sing at the top of my lungs as if I were in the middle of the Alps: My favourite things
- Covering my head with hats and wrapping scarves and shawls around my neck.
- Keeping my feet well wrapped up, much to my chagrin, setting aside pretty shoes and resorting to Uggs. In my opinion, there's no more hideous shoe, but it's impossible for even an electric blanket tied to my feet to generate more heat.
- And... BUYING PINK HELIUM BALLOONS!!! They instantly provide happiness and a good skin tone. There's a store in Madrid where they inflate them for you, and it's wonderful to walk through the city with the balloons floating.

when I'm feeling sad,
I simply remember my favorite things,
and then I don't feel so baaaaaaad
