I ♥ blogs, Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week 2009-10

Welcome to Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week!! Another edition of the kingdom of street style, the fashion fair, the bonfire of vanities, and the place with the highest concentration of fashion bloggers in the country! Willkommen! Bienvenue! Welcome! Im Cibeleeees, Au Cibeleees, To Cibeleeeess!

As on previous occasions, we'll start by talking about the colleagues I met. Many were missing, as they were in other cities or faced this year's accreditation difficulties, and couldn't make it. But to those who were there, and especially to those I got to know and spend more time with... hugs and kisses all around.

A special mention to my dear Fernando from Chic too Chic, with whom I spent most of the time laughing, learning, and showing friends the backstage of the shows. Fernando, I love you, it's wonderful to see such a professional who takes things so seriously but at the same time maintains a relaxed and fun point of view.

I can't take another step without thanking Ana Romero from Corpory for making my life easy and introducing me to my most suitable sponsor, Grey Goose vodka. I knew that all that consumption at some point in my life had to bring me some benefit. I never imagined it would be in the form of accreditation for Cibeles, but hey, don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

I stopped Raquel from Gratis Total without knowing who she was, to take a photo of her with her fascinator, and I was pleasantly surprised to meet her. We maintain her anonymity and with it the mystery hidden behind that camera.

Cris from My Fab Lab, we had been circling each other for a while and there was no way to meet. Finally, it happened at this Cibeles, and I confirmed what I already suspected, that this woman is adorable and a stunner. She's like six feet tall without heels, and if you pose next to her and Mayka Lujosa Barcelona, you have to stand on a stool so they don't only show your forehead. By the way, Mayka, I don't have a photo of you, how utterly careless of me, but I remember you.

Ana from TeleMadrid, she doesn't have a blog but it's as if she does because she reads all of us, and that already qualifies her.

This is where my neurons start to short-circuit; being accredited by Grey Goose has its drawbacks, and I don't remember the name of this young and slender blogger below. Please forgive me and send me an email/comment so I can edit it and put your name and blog as it should be. Sorry. ...edited: IT'S ROCÍO! from "Diary of style"

Oh, how much I laughed with this destructive woman from Miranda Makarroff, she's so funny and has a very particular vision of this whole affair, which you can glimpse on her blog, here.

Next to Miranda is her friend Gala González who came to cover Gwyneth Paltrow at the Adolfo Domínguez show. Given the commotion, she should have come with rugby shoulder pads and spiked cuffs because the journalists almost caused a tsunami.

That cheeky skirt!

We say goodbye with some beautiful blog readers, and it's a pleasure to see how simple and stylish they are. Forgive me again for not remembering the names; by now, my accreditor has already caused irreparable damage to my cerebellum, that's how it is, but I'll edit it as soon as you tell me.

We'll say goodbye until tomorrow, meine Damen und Herren, mes dames et messieurs, ladies and gentlemen,
Where are your troubles now?
Forgotten, I told you so!
We have no troubles here
Here life is beautiful.
The girls are beautiful.
Even the orchestra is beautiful.
Life is a Cibeleeeeeeessss!

PS: Can someone tell me how to put a little heart to replace the word love

PS2: I missed taking photos of Fashionisima, Miss at la Playa, la Ratita Presumida, Trendencias... I know I'm missing more, it was a pleasure to meet you ladies, let's see if next year Nespresso sponsors me and I'm more alert
