Men's Military Jacket Soldier James
As expected, our beloved Zara has already released its particular version of military jackets. Some of you have told me about it, and I sincerely appreciate you thinking of me when you saw them. You're so kind; this is like a sort of cosmic family.
Some of you guys have told me Zara has already released some military style jackets and were wondering what I thought of them.
Personally, I think the girls' version they released is a poorly made rag, without structure, without lining, like a bolero, and with two paltry gold embellishments, that doesn't make a military jacket. No offense, Amancio, you don't always hit the mark. But the boys' versions (because they've released two) are better made.
I personally find the girls one of a very poor quality, too short, without lining, few embellishment and not well finished makes it a bad investment. On the contrary the boys one's are not that bad.
For example, the one Asier Echeandía wore at Cibeles seemed well-crafted and looked great in a nobler fabric like leather. According to Asier, he ran upstairs in the Zara store in Berlin to buy it, and although he was delighted, it hadn't been cheap, and the buttons kept falling off. That's Zara for you, we can't expect miracles.
This actor told me he found his leather version of the military jacket in Zara Berlin and loves it. The only pitty is that the buttons are falling all the time, even thought it wasn't precisely cheap. Well, what can we say, it's Zara, can't ask for more, but still, I find it a good catch because I haven't seen any more of this kind around.

However, I haven't seen this model again, so despite the button flaw, I think it's a good purchase. An opinion I don't share with the model I'm showing you next, which has been so successful that it's already "stale," let me explain.
What I think is not a good investment at all is this other version of the D&G jacket which I've seen aaallll over Madrid. These three pictures I'm showing you are from the 2 days I spent at Fashion Week. Yes, you got it, only 2 days and I caught 3 different people wearing it...uhm
Here's the Zara jacket in question:

I was at Cibeles for only 2 days and had the opportunity to photograph the same jacket up to 3 times. I know more people wearing the same jacket slipped past me, but I never use photos borrowed from other blogs, so let's leave it at that.

A pretty decent clone of the D&G jacket for this autumn/winter. Do we have anything against clones? No, of course not; by now, we've all indulged in a few, but I think it's always good to call things by their name. If I copy Chris Martin's jacket, I'll tell you; if Zara rips off Domenico & Stefano... I'll tell you too.
As I said before it's a straight copy of the D&G jacket, nothing against it! Just so you were aware that you won't be wearing an exclusive design.

So, what am I trying to tell you with this? Well, even though I adore Zara, if you're looking for a military jacket, which should be a special piece that draws attention and makes you stand out, if you go to Zara, all you'll achieve is having buttons fall off and seeing many other "soldiers" dressed exactly like you on the street.
So what I'm trying to say is that if you are looking for a military inspired jacket, you should be looking for an exclusive and unique one, otherwise you'll be bumping into people looking just like you and collecting buttons in your pockets.
Therefore, if you want a real military jacket, of good quality, and that only you will have... what should you do? Call Mama Condesa, send her a brief email saying... I don't want to be a sheep, I prefer to wear its wool in a special piece that brightens my day when I put it on. Help me... And I'll rush to make you the jacket of your dreams for a little more than the Zara price tag.
And of course the best place to find that exclusiveness is nowhere else but right here! Right now! With La Condesa jackets! Just call me dears, send me an email with an SOS and I'll be there making you dream jacket for just a little more than the Zara price.
For example, Jaime called me and said: I want a jacket that I can wear on weekends, that will make people look at me when I go somewhere but won't seem strange, and above all, that looks like it belonged to a World War II soldier... et voilà!
Just like Jaime, who called me and asked for a military jacket that could be worn on dayly bases, that gets your eye but without getting to much attention and inspired on the Second World War uniforms...and voilà!!

It's that easy.

For orders, you can buy it through the online store or by sending me an email (elvestidorconde@gmail.com)
Orders can be placed through the online store or by sending me an email
Kisses and have a good start to the week,
La Condesa an hour later
