The biggest

I recently received an email from my friend Sergio that made me laugh out loud. He told me the following:

Countess,

Two weeks ago, I went to Boston to see some friends and acquaintances. On the way back, at the airport, I ran into an acquaintance of yours. A friend and follower of your magnificent blog, and I'm almost certain it was her because she was wearing the same outfit as in one of your posts and had the same husband by her side. I took a quick photo of her, and by the time I plucked up the courage to tell her (mentioning you, of course) that I had photographed her in Paris and would love to take a picture with her, she was gone.

Here is the stolen paparazzi photo:

But what do my eyes see? Can this be possible? Is it even remotely imaginable? Is it really her? Yes, it's her! My absolute and total idol. The Parisian Lady I saw a year ago at the Ungaro fashion show, who impressed me by wearing such a hat in the very front row of the show, in 25°C weather. How great.

Not content with that, thanks to Sergio, we discovered that this Lady, besides having no complexes whatsoever, which I love, has not one but at least two amazing fur hats! Ahhhhh!! Of course, because having only one is tacky; you have to have at least a change, as my grandmother used to say.

And where does she get them made? Because she clearly has them custom-made, to match her coat and with the height and volume she considers ideal for waiting at an airport boarding gate, at a fashion show, at the physical therapist's, in the opera box, and wherever she feels like it, because that's just how this Lady is. Free. Uninhibited. And always with her husband by her side, who loves her, indulges her, and accompanies her everywhere.

I love this couple; I have a new goal in life, which is to become friends with them, I ask the little white dove god for it. Please, let me run into them somewhere again. I remember her as very nice. It's a shame Sergio didn't hug her; knowing him, she would have adopted him.
Just in case, from now on, come rain or shine, I will wear my fur hat everywhere so that if we meet, we can play giants and big-heads together.

Many hugs,
The Countess feeling small

PS: By the way, speaking of Paris, I wanted to let you know that the brand EROTOKRITOS is offering a 50% discount in their online store, here. Whenever I go to Le Bon Marché, I always make a point of stopping by their corner to study the intricate patterns and caress their beautiful satin dresses, so I thought you might be interested too.
