Bow wow Weber!

My favorite campaign from last winter and probably the rest of my life: Moncler down jackets photographed by Bruce Weber on the most adorable models a production team could ever find. I remember when I opened the magazine and saw it, I couldn't believe my eyes. The editorial is brilliant, it speaks of the brand's traditional roots, introduces a new concept like humor, the photos are beautiful, everything is perfectly well done but at the same time it gives a feeling of flexibility and playfulness (in a good way). The most entertaining thing is to look at the dogs' faces one by one; each one expresses something different. Brilliant.

In this Times article, they explain that the campaign was conceived by Moncler's owner (Remo Ruffini), Vogue Italia's art director (Luca Stoppini), and Bruce Weber himself, who requested special down jackets be made for his golden retrievers. I wish I had been in the room when he made that request aloud.

Hugs and a thousand barks,

The Countess, who is DYING to have a dog
