Alvarno: the chic of Paris with the light of Madrid

September is here, a new year begins, and even though it's still summer, there's something about September that makes us feel autumn, maybe it's the return to work and the magazines that are already bombarding us with warm clothes. Of the past autumn/winter fashion shows in Madrid, without a doubt the best of all was Alvarno's, spectacular, not only for the clothes but also for the details that accompanied an impeccable presentation.

The show took place outside the usual circuit, specifically in the Palace of the Duke of Fernán Núñez, a simply spectacular location that immediately transported guests to the grandeur of Paris.

The guests, perhaps anticipating the quality of the event, appeared in their finest attire. One of the main comments was that the designer duo had managed to gather an audience that usually does not leave the comfort of their homes for just any fashion show, since the usual Carmen Lomana and Eloisa Bercero were joined by ladies such as Covadonga O'Shea, Gaelle Colette and a long etcetera of illustrious surnames and stylish bearings as illustrated below.

Once everyone was seated (and the seating was not easy) the show began.

When I remember the fashion show, I can only express my most sincere congratulations for a job very well done and, I insist, very well presented. The music was excellent, the makeup and hairstyling by Lewis Amarante were flattering, the shoes I think were a collaboration with Giuseppe Zanotti, in short, everything, absolutely everything was phenomenal.

I hope you are doing great and that we can continue to enjoy shows like this that raise the level of our national fashion scene. In this link you can learn about the two designers and see the entire laborious preparation process for the fashion show from the inside.
