Dizzying front row
Cibeles ended and I caught a flu that has kept me busy researching the different consequences such an illness has on an employed person versus a self-employed person. Where before I would stay home, now I drag myself from wall to wall until I reach the front door; where before I had a fever, now I consider it to be because it's hot; where before I felt unable to drive, now I self-medicate and can even handle heavy vehicles. I have found the definitive vaccine for the flu: registering as self-employed.

While I recover so I can tell you how happy I am that this year's El Ego fashion shows were excellent, I'll leave you with a photo of the front row of the Maya Hansen and American Pérez show, who, being the last to show, had the honor of having the presence of El Ego's sponsor, Burger King. This is how, at a precise spatiotemporal moment, a series of characters gathered on the same bench (I ask you to observe the photo carefully) from whom, from the other side, I couldn't take my eyes off:
Happy weekend,
La Condesa espesa
- The Burger King king, I love that a noble is the sponsor of El Ego, of course due to my own condition, but I can't help but feel that his presence on the runway is, at the very least... disturbing.
- Carmen Lomana, she loves to be on the grill. I admire the saintly patience this woman has to attend to and take photos with everyone who approaches her without losing her smile. Carmen has a hypnotic power over the youngsters.
- Fan of Maya Hansen's corsets with severe tonsillitis.
- MAM's double, trying to divert eyes from his companion's swelling (in fact, I have two other photos where I caught him looking directly into her eyes).
- Juanma Bajo Ulloa, who has noticed my presence and doesn't like me.
- The protagonist of the short film directed by Juanma Bajo Ulloa for Larios (the only good one I've seen so far, by the way) observing her corset-wearing neighbor and wondering if she shouldn't tear off her head and place it between her breasts as the only way to get attention.
- A man, a father, a grandfather, with a fantastic skin tone, who has also noticed my presence and is looking at me, imploring some kind of clarification, "What is this and what am I doing here?" he seems to be saying to me with his gaze.
- A child, a grandson, peeking at the first large breasts live and in person in his life, reminds me of the tobacconist scene in Amarcord.
Happy weekend,
La Condesa espesa
