The calm before the storm

Calm down, friends, I haven't given birth yet. From the number of emails I've received, I realize it was reckless to leave the blog unupdated for a week, as this led to suspicions about the arrival of The Heiress, but no, friends, she's not with us yet. She will be soon, no doubt; we are barely two weeks away from the happy event (I can already hear the little birds singing), so at any moment, it's true that you might become a second priority, I'm sure you'll understand.

The reason for this week's abandonment, for which I apologize, is that I'm trying to get everything more or less on track (which is impossible), assuming that this year's summer collection will come out later (much later, and I'm not going to stress about it), discovering that all Zaras have a new section called Zara Kids (Amancio, you're on top of everything, how amazing), and above all, breathing, breathing very deeply and practicing mental evasion from the widespread practice among every good neighbor of giving you a detailed account of their birth when they see your belly arrive 10 seconds before the rest of your body. That is, only if the birth was tragic. I'm starting to border on rudeness in my replies, but no, I'm not interested in hearing that they cut you open, this got complicated, that went wrong, oh, the pain, they didn't anesthetize me well, my husband didn't arrive, the midwife was playing cards, the ceiling of the room was falling... but enough, lady! And I thought it was common practice to discourage an entrepreneur, child's play compared to the psychological harassment a pregnant woman is subjected to.

Once again, ignore it, turn a deaf ear. I don't know what strange pleasure people find in sharing their agony, but they should rather give work to the psychologists of this country and leave you in peace. See you tomorrow... or not, who knows? hehe

Stay strong during the January slump and gather your energy, because the storm of thousands of daily fashion shows and the avalanche of information that the fashion world will generate in the coming weeks is coming.

Hugs,
The Calm Countess.
