The Countess on Los 40 Principales

Last week, La Condesa was present at the 40 Principales gala, dressing the official presenter and DJ Tony Aguilar.

We made him a specially modified version of the Watson jacket. The truth is, I still can't get used to seeing my designs on TV; even if you know it's going to happen, when you finally see it live, it gives you a significant surge of joy. It's also true that it's not 100% certain to happen in the end; artistic egos, insecurities, or knowing that they won't give it to you for free are issues that can sometimes lead to the hours of work put into a jacket not being valued at the last minute, and them not wearing it out. The same thing happened to us with another superstar present at the gala, but not with Tony; he was always fully committed to the creation of his jacket, excited about the fittings, and has even asked us to lend it for a season to 40 Principales Café so they can display it alongside other pieces by guest artists. In short, it's a pleasure to work with such grateful people.

Thanks Tony.
Thanks Luis.

This photo next to Guetta, who has made me dance and have so many good times, makes me particularly excited. On the other hand, I'm a little worried about the health our good friend David is showing, or is it just that he looks strange in the photo?
